Optipus PV: building an identity to match a disruptive technology

Optipus PV develops flexible, colored organic solar cells that can be integrated directly into the surfaces of objects. When the studio was called in, the technology was solid but the brand identity non-existent. Studio3615 took charge of the complete construction of the branding (logo, graphic charter, product visuals) as well as the design and integration of the website.
OBJECTIVES
Build a complete brand identity for a seed-stage deeptech company, from logo to website.

Create a visual identity that incorporates color as a technological signature
The logo is built around the Optipus O, formalized as a moving strip: a direct reference to the flexibility and shape of Energyskin™ cells. The chromatic palette is based on the actual optical properties of thin films: iridescent hues produced by light interference, making color as much a technical argument as an aesthetic one.

Define a graphic system that can be used on all brand media
The charter sets out the rules for the use of logo, color, typography and photographic treatment. The Safiro / IBM Plex Sans duo was chosen for its ability to cover the brand’s two registers: editorial for brand content, and technical for product content.

Design product application visuals to illustrate technology integration
Studio3615 produced the visuals showcasing the Energyskin™ cells applied to various objects (headphones, earphones, e-readers…). These visuals are designed to concretely demonstrate the promise of technology integration, aimed at the brand’s B2B targets.

Structuring and designing a B2B conversion-oriented showcase site
The site has been structured to address Optipus PV’s two main targets: manufacturers looking for co-development partnerships, and investors. The information architecture, product pages and layout were entirely designed and integrated by Studio3615, in line with the graphic charter developed upstream.
